Lazy Acre Alpacas, located in Bloomfield, New York is a family run farm that started in 2000. The farm resides in the Finger Lakes region, which is located just outside of Rochester. Our family, works together running the farm that specializes in huacaya alpacas. The farm was started with carefully selected pregnant females that were able to produce top-breed crias. Our breeding of alpacas is a controlled, aimed program at producing healthy, conformationally correct animals, with exceptional fleece quality. However, we have a varied price range to target any budget. We offer a wide range of animals from show to pet quality. Our herd consists of a multitude of colors and all of our animals are registered with the Alpaca Registry Incorporated. All animals have detailed medical records that are updated and organized. These are available for our customers to view upon request. We select only the top sires in the country to mate with our females. As a result our herd is constantly improving.

Set on two hundred acres in the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes, our animals enjoy lush pastures, comfortable loafing sheds and a heated birthing and treatment area. The excellent facilities allow for healthy, happy animals. Our animals are raised with constant handling and interaction with children, developing a gentle disposition in our herd.
For those of you just beginning your farm, we are here to assist you. We offer start-up packages that consist of assistance with the establishment of your farm from the beginning until long after you receive your first animals. We know the questions that arise and are here to present you with as much assistance as possible. As our customer we offer free boarding for animals purchased before the completion of your farm. Once your farm is completed and you are ready for animals, we will deliver the animals for you if needed.
